Environmental & Cultural Studies

What?

  • Environmental & cultural studies exposes students to the importance of connecting with diverse cultures, languages, and the natural world. The combination of these associations help students understand the different ways that people work, live, and play, while challenging students to evaluate their own belief systems.

Why?

  • Environmental & cultural studies offer diverse educational opportunities for children to gain awareness about different global landscapes and cultures. It encourages environmentally-friendly behavior, perspective-taking and gives students the freedom to use their imagination while exploring different parts of the world.

How?

  • Scavenger Stories takes an adventure-based learning approach using immersive storytelling, imaginative play, thematic games, and craft-making to engage and motivate children to become world explorers and environmental heroes.
